FROZEN SEMEN
(KILVINGTON SCOUNDREL AND WHALTON HIGH FLYER)

1. The stud fee for frozen semen is £850.00 for both stallions, payable in advance when booked or not less than two weeks before the first insemination.
2. The mares veterinary costs are payable by the mare owner
3. The cost of transporting semen and hire of Equitainer with transport medium is payable by the mare owner, this is £126.00 including VAT, payable with the stud fee, making a total of  £976.00.
4. If the mare does not conceive on the first oestrus, more semen will be supplied at no extra cost for a second oestrus with the exception of transport and hire charges.
5. If the mare is not in foal after the second oestrus,  4 above applies but the owner has the option to substitute a different mare at no extra charge other than semen transportation and hire charges for one further insemination, either in the same year or the following year.

CHILLED SEMEN
(KILVINGTON SCOUNDREL & MOUNT HOLLY)

1. The stud fee for chilled semen is £850.00 (Scoundrel) or £500.00 (Mount   Holly), payable in advance when booked not less than two weeks before the first insemination.
2. A collection fee of £75.00 is payable with the stud fee. This covers collection, delivery to Post Office and postage charges. This is payable with the stud fee.
3. Semen will be sent by first class post the day before required.. The container is to be returned to the address on the box.. There is no charge for the container, but failure to return it within 1 week will incur a charge of £40.00. The stud requires 48 hours notice of when the semen is required.  The post is not available over bank holidays.  Semen collected on Friday am can be delivered on Saturday morning, after that collection on Monday can be delivered on Tuesday.  There is no collection or delivery on Sundays. Possible exception may be made if owners collect the semen from the stud.
4. Frozen semen quality can be guaranteed.  Chilled cannot, but there is normally no problem.
5.  If the mare is not in foal, semen will be sent for two further cycles at a charge of £75.00 each time. If, after the second cycle, 5 above applies.

PROCEDURES TO ENABLE STOCK CONCEIVED THROUGH AI
TO BE REGISTERED WITH THE NATIONAL PONY SOCIETY

1. Only use an AI NPS registered stallion
2. Forms involved
1. To be completed by the qualified person collecting the semen and to go with the container.
2. To completed by the Inseminating Vet or inseminating practitioner with blood type of mare using NPS blood typing kit
3. Certificate of Mare Pregnancy taken within 42 days

The resulting foal has to be blood typed between 3 – 6 months of age to be eligible for registration.
